Norwich Medical & Surgical Journal Club

Norwich Medical & Surgical Journal Club is a student led journal club chaired by Tanya Ta and colleagues. Our journal club is held once a month throughout the academic year.

The plan is to alternate between different Medicine and Surgery specialities and invite academic consultants/registrars/ACF doctors to chair the journal club on special occasions.

An iconic paper for that speciality will be set before hand and followed by an informal discussion over food and drinks.

We aim to increase interests in academia and research among students!

2018 – 2019 schedule:

• October – Cardiology

• November – General Surgery

• December – Respiratory
